DECATUR, ROANOKE AND SAGINAW LIBRARIES WILL BE LEAVING THE NORTH TEXAS LIBRARY CONSORTIUM ON OCTOBER 17, 2022


IMPORTANT CHANGES: BEGINNING 9/1/22, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLACE HOLD REQUESTS FOR ITEMS FROM THE DECATUR, ROANOKE AND SAGINAW LIBRARIES

 

AS OF 9/15/22, DECATUR, ROANOKE AND SAGINAW LIBRARIES WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT NTLC MEMBER LIBRARY CARDS

October Highlighted Programs & Events

 

 

 

  • Plant People
    Use grass seed and soil to create your own "chia-like" plant person to take home and nurture.  This program is Thursday, October 6th at 4:00pm.

 

 

  • Book Club
    This month's book club selection is Life in a Jar by Jack Meyer. This program is Tuesday, October 18th at 6:30pm.

 

 

  • UFO's
    UFOs (Un-Finished Objects) is our knitting and crochet group.  Bring one of your projects, or start a new one... all skill levels welcome! This program is Saturday, October 15th at 2:00pm.

 

 

  • Fall Gardening
    Cheryl Huckabee, Denton County Master Gardener, will be here to talk about planting bulbs and other fall gardening.  This program is Friday, October 21st at 4:00pm.

 

 

  • Library Babies
    Library Babies is open to our youngest patrons, ages 0-12 months.  This storytime has simple books, rhymes, and songs to encourage early literacy.  This program is Monday, October 24th at 10:30am.

 

 

  • Art Afternoon
    All teens and tweens are invited to our brand new art program!  This program is Tuesday, October 25th at 4:15pm.
